The threading die should screw onto the workpiece's thread manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (rejected). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration, independent of VÖLKEL's production, is performed in a lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the respective test item on IAC thread scanners.

• Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force
• Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
• Reference Temperature: The workpiece and gauges are calibrated at a reference temperature of 20°C
• On-Demand Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request (price available on inquiry)
• Independent Laboratory Calibration: The calibration is performed in an independent lab following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for each test piece
